I just found my way from the Paris Review blog to a story about an organization who has made what is, to me, a rather confusing decision.

Basically, a book club with a long history is breaking up because of low membership. Despite their recruiting efforts, they can’t round up enough people to support the club because no one can come to their meeting time.

They voted to disband the organization, rather than to change the meeting day/time.

Hm.
