This morning, I couldn’t sleep. So in the perfect silence of early morning, I finally finished PARALLEL WORLDS by Michio Kaku. It’s taken me over a month to read – dense stuff, but mind-blowing. I’ve never been stellar at math or science, but I’ve always loved thinking about the universe and how tiny we are in it, and this book packed a punch and had me reeling in the best possible way, even without a strong science background. So I’d highly recommend it, if you’re looking for that sort of thing.
And now, just in time for Halloween and in the spirit of all things spooky and romantic, I will once again dive into Erin Morgenstern’s THE NIGHT CIRCUS, after which I admit I’m planning to veer in a totally different direction and read all available THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER light novels. Because variety is the spice of life, after all.
Plus, I’ve already met my 2015 reading goal (40 books) so anything else I enjoy this year is just gravy.
And whoops…I should probably go rate those no-stars at some point, because some of them were great, and I’m just lazy about starring things on Goodreads.
If you’re interested in my favorites from the books I’ve read in 2015, I’ll do a year-end round-up in December, similar to what I did last year.
